Located in Palm Beach County, Florida, the City of Delray Beach serves residents with a variety of municipal services—including a dedicated Utilities Department. As part of their expansion, the city began building a new warehouse to better manage water and sewer fittings and related items.
The Challenge: Starting Inventory Management from Zero
As the lead responsible for setting up the city’s Utilities warehouse, Sixela C. Ricardo needed a robust solution:
- From the Ground Up: No previous system in place, needed to set up inventory processes from scratch.
- Efficiency with Detail: The system needed to be both intuitive and capable of detailed tracking.
- User Permissions: Needed a view-only option for employees not authorized to modify data.
