How Can We Best Manage Shared Resources?
System Configurations
Our Asset Tracking System’s My Work Assets Add on is a digital storefront that displays all the available items within your organization. We allow you to tweak the settings of this add on within the System configuration. Within My Work Assets Configuration settings, you will be able to change the image sizes, Category vs. List view, Field control and more.
My Work Assets (MWA) Image Sizing
Configure the sizes of the images you upload to our Asset Tracking Add On
The first aspect that you can configure within our MWA interface is the size of your images. When you look at the My Work Assets digital storefront you can choose from either small images or large images. The small images look like an asset grid with the large images have descriptions to the right of each image.
MWA Home Screen View
Configure MWA Settings to view your assets in either list or category view
- Category View: Category View will permit users to select a Category, then see the list of Assets, the description, Category ID, and a Picture if available. Users can scroll through the full list of assets within the chosen category and add them to their cart.
- List View: List View will permit the user to see the full list of asset items, the description, Category ID, and a Picture if available. Users can scroll through the full list of Assets, choose items, and add them to their cart.
MWA Field Control Settings
Choose which asset data fields to show
Users can also configure the field control settings and choose which fields will show up on the Items List. The configuration settings have columns with checkboxes that can be selected to display various information in the My Work Assets digital asset storefront. This configuration feature can be used to adjust the view of your assets to fit your specific needs.
MWA Configure System Alerts
Who do you want to be notified?
Another aspect of the My Work Assets’ settings that you can configure are the alerts. The system can alert whoever you decide to make sure asset requests are approved. For example, if someone wants to reserve a tool or piece of Equipment, you can configure the settings to alert either the person who submitted the request (almost acting as a follow up email), the requestor’s manager, or even just another person or group.
